SmartCamp is an exclusive global program bringing together entrepreneurs, investors and experienced mentors. In each location, five companies will be selected to spend one day networking with world-class entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts. Last year 4 of the 5 selected companies received funding or investment offers from IBM partners.
Take time to register for SmartCamp if it's a fit for your company or a portfolio company.
Additionally, IBM has recently announced a new program for early stage start-ups called IBM Global Entrepreneur. IBM Global Entrepreneur opens our doors and resources to early stage entrepreneurs looking to bring the next big idea to market and help build a smarter planet.
Through the IBM Global Entrepreneur initiative, start-ups can access:
- IBM software at no charge, either on-premise or in a cloud, to speed up application development
- Expertise from dedicated IBM project managers to assist in product development and go-to-market strategies
- IBM's global network of 38 Innovation Centers for testing on IBM platforms, technology expertise, & market access around the globe

How to Build an Entrepreneurship Ecosystem for Women in Greater Boston

December 1st, 2010
7:30am to 9:30am
Bingham McCutchen LLP
One Federal Street, Boston, MA

Folks all over New England are looking back at our heritage of being one of the most successful areas of the country for entrepreneurship and realizing that the path for the future is very different.

What about women's entrepreneurship?

How are the rules of the road changing and what types of support systems do we all need to build together to drive this future?

How can leaders in the last decade work together to mentor entrepreneurs, provide CEO support, collaborate on early stage financing, and architect the new road map for women-led ventures?

Come hear two successful women talk about their incredible journey creating start-up businesses and join discussions on how women can help women in start-ups.
